Frozen or rocks?
What to get a new mum for Christmas? How about a "womb-shaped" bath from John Lewis that you use to wash your baby. As the blog boing boing describes it: "baby in a blender".

Womb shaped?
I fear my womb is the bedsit of the womb property portfolio.
kitchen sink, tea towel over the pointy plugs.
Job done

We always bathed them in the big bath. I don't see why anyone needs to buy a baby bath at all but parents will buy these things. Must have money to burn.

Good grief! What a waste of money. What are all the scary wires for????
The phrase fools and money comes swiftly to mind....

Womb-shaped? As Wendy said, it's an expensive bucket. It's only suitable for the very early days, then it's at the back of the wardrobe (with the real blender)... or perhaps I have too much of a 'make do and mend' mentality!

A builder's bucket is cheaper! That's what I used for my son when he was new, and he loved it. I just removed the handle, to avoid any sharp bits, and stood it in the utility room sink. Perfect shape, perfect height and you need very little water. Then on to the draining board to be wrapped in a snug towel afterwards. So convenient I was quite disappointed when he grew out of it.
