Definitely my last post until the summer

but there is a quite marvellous break-down of the inanities and idiocies in the British press response to CBB in the new Private Eye. I particularly like the "Vote For Shilpa To Save Britain's Reputation" in the Daily Mail, on the day that she was up for eviction. Beautiful work.

i'm sorry to be still be here too ... but the blog is always as good or better than the programme ... i laughed out loud this morning when i heard shilpa is going to be presented to the queen ... and will be opening things and starring in virtually everything to be produced this summer ... she is obviously going to have the career makosi was hoping for ... i feel shilpa-fatigue coming on!

Wendy - grate! Then in three years time we can stick her back in the house, pick up on a few ill-advised remarks she makes and launch a nationwide hate campaign. I can't wait!!

Good to see I'm not the only lurker! I wonder when the media will start Shilpa bashing? 3/4 years? When she turns 40? When she fingers the Queen's food?

Yup, right. She'll be awarded an honorary Damehood, host the National Lottery draw, take part in Strictly Come Dancing/Skating/Sumo Wrestling/Have I Got News For You/Mastermind/You Are What You Eat, and she'll turn on the 2007 Regent Street Christmas illuminations, light the Olympic Torch in 2012,become a duchess, a saint, Prince William's bride ... oh yes, can't wait.

I have no symapthy with the 3 dumb fools. There are people everyday that suffer some type of undefined racist bullying'but what gets done about it??? What makes me laugh is the usual comment from the caucasian person..'im not racist, i ate curry last Friday and my shop keper is Indian! I have never heard it the other way round. 'Oh im not racist i have fish and chips on Friday and my boss is white'! What does it say about the Brits - me being one - that they aspire to the likes of Jade, Jo and Danielle - all nobodys

her parents are involved with the mafia in india apparently.
Anyway Hugh just cos you got a life dont deprive us...

Posted by: pinkdrummergirl | 31 Jan 2007 18:07:24

3/4 years? I'm already tiring of her smile dear boy.

If she fingers the Queen I'll shoot her...oh the Queens food, you mean like taking it out of the tupperware by the fistful? And while we're on the subject of fisting the Queen...

Phew - glad you said 'food' there, Bio-Zoffin.

Awwwww...

When Jermaine went into the house, Davina asked if he was going to blame it on the boogie. Jermaine replied incorrectly that he would 'Blame it on the Sunshine'... which Davina later laughed about.

When he left the house, the audience sang, "Blame it on the Boogie".

On 'Loose Women', this morning, Jermaine Jackson arrived on to "Blame it on the Boogie"

At what point do you think the super-polite Jermaine is going to tell everybody that he wasn't in the Jacksons/Jackson 5 when that song was released???

Poor Jermaine!

Posted by: Paul D'Arcy | 1 Feb 2007 14:02:31

And now they're all singing "Blame it on the editing".

OK, it might just be me being menopausal (probably even spelled that wrong) but I must confess to not enjoying our little blog these last few weeks. Someone said that Doogal & Jessica replaced Hansgruber & Dawnrightnasty. Neither of you may be aware but, let me tell you, give me Hans Gruber & his fan club and Dawnrightnasty (and THEIR romamnce and BABIES) any time. They are funny, sarcastic and everything I look forward to when logging on to Hugo, Tim, India et all. - not 80+ posts to every bloody blog. Sorry to piss you off but that's my opinion and I sincerely hope this summer's blog will be back to normal.

What is left to say - Peace on Earth or something???

As our Hugo is far too modest and apt to hide his bushel under a light, here's one of his best ever 'A Week In The Life Of ...'
