Ooooh look, it's Chanelle getting a grope
Well it wasn't exactly Rhett and Scarlett, but phwaor, what a stunna she looked. And Carole copped a good feel too didn't she? Blonde to within an inch of her life and with a Mr Whippy hairdo. Ziggy really does look like Christian Bale in American Psycho when he's flustered or angry. (Darling, pick up that chainsaw and go for Carole!) But is it really gonna be a love match on the outside? I see a few premiership footballers standing in the way of true lurve there. As for Amy's demolition job on Carole, nice work dudette, but way too late and we didn't like you anyway. By the way, that white shroud Carole wears - is it Dior or Primark? Are shrouds now in? Is it a sheet? Is Carole the Ghost of Big Brother to Come (loads of old moaning minnies wiping up crumbs and DRIVING GOOD, INNOCENT VIEWERS MAD). Liam and Brian's row... the frustrating thing about this year's show for me has been the number of times a row blows up that I can't trace the root of, or really see what the row is about, because instead of actually rowing, the housemates start blathering on about the act of rowing itself. It's all very postmodern and odd. Uh-oh, a twin cried again. Again, the sky darkened and rumbling thunder sounded. Duck!
Daphne, hope your husband's OK...

So true about the Liam-Brian row. How did that start? What was Liam on about? What a stirrer! And it looks like it's been censored out of the official website - didn't happen, oh no, let's dwell on the boring Ziggy/Chanelle story instead.
Liam to show more of his true clurs and get booted out soon...

me too daphne. tho the description of the man in waiting room made me laugh so am hoping mr d is ok now?
i wasnt expecting chanelle ... thought the producers had changed their mind on that one. i thought it was good comeback for her tho to go in and sock it to rotten ziggy. like that shampoo ad were stunning girl with fab hair runs into her ex! ziggy looking particularly off and greasy haired too. the thing that disturbed me tho was the earlier stuff of ziggy and carol groping and play fighting ... this after earlier rows this w/e ... YUK. what power does she have over them all. hated the row with liam and brian ... liam turned into a bully. i agree that i am off liam seriously ... there was a moment of live feed at the w/e when i was sitting shelling peas and bb told liam not to touch the props in the garden he made a nasty gesture with his body straight to camera and i just felt that was the real unedited unscripted thuggish liam on show. perhaps because it was a sunny day and all was well with the world that it was so shocking and uncalled for. i dont care who wins but hope it is not jonty, carol or liam.

I find Liam's distainful conversations so irritating. Wah Ah. I mean WTF was it about. I just wanted him to shut up. Poor Brian just wanted the argument to be over and for them to be BFF. Bless, just like my 6 year old newphew. he doesnt like it when the grown ups argue.
Is it me, or are BB trying picking on Zig. I am starting to find him rather attractive especially with wet hair and when he smiles in that double-cringe/cliff richard way. Did you hear chanelle cheekily say my agent wants to sign you - next weeks issue of HEAT is sealed.

Watching the ever image conscious Ziggy trying to decide in a split second how to play things with Chanelle was great. His brain almost exploded.
And well done to Channelle for managing to engineer the best first meeting after you've been dumped ever. She's obviously had days to prepare and Ziggy looked worn out with greasy hair and smokey bacon breath.
I don't object in principle to people being aware of how they are coming across to the 'outside world'. I think it is only British peverseness that makes us only want people to win that don't act like they want to win. (The same odd standards are not expected on deal or no deal for example.) However, the endless rehashing of how Ziggy should have used the moment better did get boring.
I don't think we should blame Ziggy for trying to give the public what they want. We can blame him for getting it so completely wrong though.

Thanks, everyone, for asking after Mr.D. He's going to be laid-up for the next coupe of months, and no live feed to watch! LeHGFC it was the DOE's fault, quarry gravel had been left on the road corner. He's lying there, a vision in white. Carole's obviously his new fashion icon.

daphne ... i am very sorry to hear about mr d. he must be hurt to be laid up for a couple of months. i hope he recovers perfectly and soon. i am sorry about my frivolous comment earlier but it is your fault daphne for making me laugh. take care of you too ... wendy++

Gonna be a bit controversial here but could Liam be acting like a bully all of a sudden so as not to win another wad of cash? He's clever enough to have calculated that in spite of his erstwhile Mr Nice n'Normal image everybody would resent him if he was a double-winner. A bit arrogant of him to assume he's even in with a chance but why else would he be behaving so badly at this late stage? Not that I'm a huge fan but he does have lovely eyes.

who to win this year's BB ? Let me see now:
the twins - insipidness on a stick, on two sticks. Is there anything in those tiny pink heads ? DOes a complete lack of character qualify you to win BB - a show that traditionally has been all about character ?
Now do you want me to be the cat ?
Brina - an utter dimwit, who thinks it is fine to be a dimwit, that others should respect you as much as that Shakespear geezer, even though you are a dimwit. I mean the man should be in Baby Big Brother.
Liam - oh he's alright. Bit arrogant. A lad. But what has he done to entertain us ?
Ziggy - a bad manipulator, a fawning over the top wannabe crowd pleaser. And I am sorry fawing over carole rather than standing up to her, just makes me feel he's gutless.
Carole - an evil manipulator, a bully, an ugly nasty ole cow, a whining, whinging, moaning, fun killer.
Jonty - oh pl-ease...little jonty stands more chance. Still he does get one vote for making me laugh when airing little jonty, whilst talking nonchantly to Barry who was desperately trying to avoid viewing same.
No it is a hard task this year really since I don't like any of 'em - I can't seem to care. It's been a long haul hasn't it. I have a feeling it my gut this might be it for BB - at least on prime time water cooler TV.
I am disappointed though in them axing CBB - that was always good for many laughs !!!!

They should give the money to us lot, then we could ALL go to Disney.
And we could all wear shrouds with flip-flops. Tres chic with the Mouse ears.(sorry, no accent Ms.De Paw).
Thanks Wendy.

I can't think of anything more fun than going to Disneyland with you lot. Any playmates for my kids (G8, B5, B2)?
We will have to wheel Mr Daphne around in his bed, and Mr J might need a portable beanbag with TV and computer attached (although he has been known to do things that don't involve electricity and lying down), but we would be like one big family with G de P as the grand old matriarch in the biggest white tent of all, imparting wisdom and occasional bouts of drunken honesty.

Did u know there is a target painted on the floor of the house - BB are planning to play an evil trick on someone - I reckon the biggest muppet/doughnut/yogurt top (Brian) will jump up and down on it THINKING he s winning a task and then they say sorry Brian, pack your bags. I hope so. He is playing to the cameras now. Rememeber he has OCD for BB. he is such a twat.

That was Chanelle?? I thought it was Tracey post Bella Makeover. Or a jaudice-yellow version of the 1UP mushroom from Mario. Seriously, she's skanky. She's in HEAT again, banging on about not banging Ziggy. She only got in that relationship so has a reason to appear in every bloody paper she can. Does she talk about anything other than Ziggy?? I guess not since she's a bit of a dullard plain-jane with the temperament of a spoiled toddler, and the psychotic tendancies of Hannibal Lecter. AND she said she's not a "kiss-and-tell girl"! I nearly spat out my coffee from laughing (which would've been a waste, so I'm glad I didn't).
Glad Mr. D is going to be okay, Daphne. And hope you'll be okay managing things during his convalescence. :)
If we do go to all go to Disney(which is a fabulous idea) we'd have to all do a mass mooning at Mickey Mouse, then kick him in the shins and run away giggling like schoolkids.

Liv - I'm no fan of Disney's repellent mouse, but you must remember that inside the costume is a real, living, human being - a French human being possibly, though on second thoughts more likely a Pole or a Romanian these days. Anyhoot, I seriously doubt whether the costume's incumbent would disagree with your stance towards the Mickster, but might smart at the shin pain.

I'm up for Disney! Never been - is it like that classic 'Simpsons' episode 'Itchy and Scratchy Land'?
Last night's BB 'highlights' - even more boring than usual and I forwent the last fifteen minutes and sloped off to bed with the current love of my life - the cat.
I really can't get my head round the prospect of that idiot savant (not too much savant) Brian winning, with his wittering about cider and creepy moves on that twin.
So if it means I must invest a bit in the Twins, then so be it. I do however have a horrible suspicion that although she won't win, the obnoxious Carole will be in the last three.

Tim, I just posted the comment before in the wrong bit - it's meant to go under the later post you made - would you move it, please?

Hi Daphne, just wanted to also send Mr D best wishes for a speedy recovery. I empathise with you entirely as Mr L had a motorbike for a few years and used to scare the bejesus out of me with it. Not least because after writing off the first one (not through an accident, luckily, he just knackered it through, bizarrely, not riding it far enough!) he was reduced to buying a replacement off the internet. (I kid you not.) It was £600 brand new and came from China, and bits of it dropped off as he rode down the street. Luckily they were always quite non-essential but it was a happy day in the Lingli household when he finally passed his driving test and switched to 4 wheels instead. So I hope you and Mr D are doing well.
Apologies for this having nothing whatsoever to do with BB, but I have to confess I've given up on it entirely now and am keeping up with it only via this blog, Grace Dent, and the front pages of the gossip rags. Does that disqualify me from this site?!

Rotwatcher- I should hope that the fat cats at Disney should offer some sort of accident insurance to their put-upon employees. And even if the costume's inhabitant is not hurt at all, they should just pretend they are and use it as an excuse to doss around for a few days, eating ice-cream and sitting on their butt, with the money from said insurance policy wedged firmly in their pocket.

Am sure it's too late for anyone to read this, but there's a fantastic short story by Irvine Welsh about a Scottish family's trip to Disneyland where the dad lamps someone in a Goofy suit for scaring his wean - can't remember the title but it's in The Acid House.
