Chasing Amy
Just before I go...my best-friend just rang me and told me that her friend, who knows a *close* relative of a certain Heather Mills McCartney, says that Amy is part of Clan Heather. Amy 'I am artist' has bugged me since she went into the house--initally only because she looked like a certain someone. Now I've realised who it might be, and why, I like her still less.
Is the friend of my best-friend fibbing? The Sun did run a 'lookalike' story. Do we know this already? Do we care?
Amy
sister of Amy?
Right, that's it. I am off (to Miami, as it happens).

I would have thought she WAS HMM, trying desperately to scrape her way back into minor credibility, if it weren't for Amy's coherence and lack of pleading.
She doesn't care what we think of her, because that's part of the art. Great.
No, I'm sorry, much as I am enjoying watching the show, I have absolutely nothing to say. And no, there has been no bleeding from the eyes, Daphers, but plenty of crying from them.
There was a minor scuffle on last night's show, between Victor and Latoya, but it was cleared up by an brutally honest pep-talk from John, which Victor listened to and admitted his faults. This NEVER happens on Big Brother, which runs by the same rules as bad soaps: when someone is trying to give someone some home truths, they never listen and it gets worse. But it was quite refreshing, I have to say.
Nathan has become the Captain Jack of the house: if anyone's upset, he's sent in because he can't be hit (or at least, you'd be crazy to try) (talking of which, did anyone see the stonking new series of Torchwood last night instead of BB?)

Wasn't Torchwood absolutely brilliant? Never been more glad of this new tele service where I can record 2 programmes whilst watching another one! By the way did you know of the new BBC IPlayer service. Go to website www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer and you can watch any (I think) BBC programme shown in the past 7 days. This means you never have to choose between Torchwood or E4. Am very curious about Dangers and Glenn Close (whoever he/she is). Daphne, help me out please!
Just back to BB - glad to be rid of Liam and of Victor (though latter one made better viewing; he was a male chauvinistic pig which shouldn't be condoned) Liam was such a weirdo creep and if he's such a successful entrepreneur with a turnover of £200,000 - does he pay his 14 odd staff peanuts?

Sorry Daphne and Tim, meant Damages of course - not Dangers. Where can I see it?

Oh Lianne, where to begin? *Spoiler alert*! Well.. big, hotshot mega rich lawyer (good) takes on big, hotshot mega-rich businessman who stiffed his employees (bad). New young, not very rich(yet) lawyer to help bring down said business man (Sam from Cheers). Young lawyer kills fiancee with Statue of Liberty statue. Or did she? Could have been the pigeon. Good lawyer really a ,dog murdering genius.Sam (maybe) going to kill lawyer, but which one? Dodgy lying, slutty sister opening Cheers with Sams' backing. Trust nobody! They're all liars!Well that's the jist of it.
Hope this helps. It's really very, very good.

Thanks so much Daphne - managed to get 2nd installment on BBC IPlayer after many attempts and, with your intro on 1st episode sort of got the gist. Loved it! Was great telling other half of the fab new series recommended by BB Bloggers such as yourself and Tim. Lots of tut-tutting and eye-to-sky-rolling.
Have you seen Torchwood? BBC2 9 pm Wednesday or repeat Thursday 7 pm Also well worth it if you're into that sort of tele.
Thanks again Daphne

Sorry, when I said Nathan I did, of course mean Anthony, the boxer. Should make more sense now.

Glad you enjoyed it. Now you'll spend the next few weeks chasing it around the listings, can't help but think if Channel 4 had it they'd put it on at 9 or 10 pm and leave it on the same night every week! Tried Torchwood the fist time, but it didn't float my boat. The smallest person in the house is waiting, for the cleaned up, childrens version, with bated breath. She's all things Dr. Who on the brain.
I saw the BB housemates on the cooking with Ramsey show.
I thought the were supposed to be talented. They couldn't even speak and whisk at the same time.
