I love it

Sorry, but I do. Is Calista Myleene Klass? is Jeremy the rally car driver just the juiciest sulky thing you ever did see? What's with the fashion designer's crazy bendy neck? What's going on with Madonna's dancer boogying away in some cruddy back garden? It's like bleedin' X Factor in there. I loved that silly first task and I loved Matt Lucas giggling so fabulously through it. And I want Dermot's coat. It is not Big Brother, it's not as good as regular BB yet, but at least it's not Danielle Lloyd. Frankly I don't see why inviting Jimmy Carr and the Chapman Brothers (they of mutilated doll art fame) on is in any way less potentially controversial than Jade Goody. We could still probably have an international race controversy by day three.

Tim, Happy New Year and so glad to see you are back here on my favourite (and, might sound sad, only) blog.

Poor old John having to carry out Matt's every comment. I'm surprised he never got smacked in the gob but luckily he survived.

Had to bloody well change channel when hubby came home so don't know what happened when doors opened.

First impressions to me was that guy, the racing driver, being an arrogant so and so. Just switched over to E4 live to find all blokes in hot tub and one guy - is it the Rapper? - wearing his T-Shirt in the pool- Why? I thought he was quite fit? And John sitting by the side of the pool probably contemplating politics and where the 'youngns' have gone wrong.

Anyhow, they all have big egos so they're bound to clash sooner than later.

Can't wait. Great to be back!

Ohhh I haven't seen it yet, Mr D insisted on watching Matthew Kelly die. Hopefully I won't have to go to work because of the 10, well, 2 inches of snow here and I'll watch it later. Lianne thanks for asked after Mr D. he is 90% better, but I sent him back to work after 11 weeks. Half pay dontcha know!

What happened when it switched over to E4? I missed it. I nearly switched, but I just couldn't bring myself to watch E4. Did John pass the task, is he immune? Surely he'll win now????

Hi Robbo: John managed to win yes, despite not being assertive or loud enough to get the group to form a circle. So he is immune till final night (unless a hijacker reverses that rule, I guess) and yet I couldn't help but have sympathy with some of the housemates who still thought he was a bit of a plonker anyway.

Calista's songs sounded odd. Like she was just making them up.

Other bit on E4? Bugger it, I'm not going to be able to keep up.

Posted by: Daphne | 4 Jan 2008 14:05:20

Yes, the song definitely sounded weird.
