It's Not You, It's Me

Okay, maybe it is you.  I've tried--I really have.  I've done everything you asked.  I've made time for you even though you're not always easy to find.  You're just not consistent--one minute you're up next you're down  There have been highs--yes.  And laughs (we've had a few).  But I am not sure they're worth sticking around for.  You go from being real and normal and just how I remember you to being all weird and contrived.  It's almost like someone has hijacked the person I know and love.

So, I am leaving you.  If you change I'll come back.  But it's a big if.

Don’t blame yourself Damian, you did everything you could but it was never going to work. Sometimes you have to let go of the thing you love. Walk away. Let it have that mid life crisis.

If only they’d ditched the thick child prodigies and had the hijackers as housemates. Maybe next year we can settle back into the cosy familiarity of Sleb BB.

That’s the spirit Damian. You’re in a dark place right now (ok, Miami’s probably sunnier than the UK), but BB will be back, a little contrite and trying to heal the rift. And you’ll both be stronger for the experience. Now let’s have a group hug.

You obviously need a break Damian. It's bloody late (at night or early morning) but hope it's not too late to let you know that your's and Tim's, Hugo's etc. (probably get a bollocking for leaving people out) input is making me, and I'm not alone, part of a happy little community. I would be so sad if you were to give up.

Fair enough, you haven't taken to this format of CBB - you're certainly not the only one though I must say I have, much depending on the Highjacker of the day. Some I really can't stand - others I find hillarious.

But please don't let that stop you from being disillusioned forever and being a super blogger again. Just give it a rest till the summer, see the new lot of nutters going in, get to know them and start the Gossip with all of us.

Please Damian, don't grow up just yet - you would be really missed.

Good point well made Daphne. Caught some of the Sleb prog last night and formed an instant and virulent dislike of Amy. And that smug weasley looking bloke who looks like Ruth Kelly.

Maybe I should have stuck with it a bit more - nice to have the old bile ducts working again!
