Nominations, evictions, it's still going on

And for those still staying the course, below is a precis of where we're at. Thoughts, insults, praise for Glenn Close - all welcome.

The thing about this show that fails before it starts is that everyone is pretty together. Imperfections and flaws are much more interesting to watch - enabling people to go some kind of a 'journey'. If you start with pretty much the finished article there isn't really anywhere you can go - this is what makes Victor so compelling but also unfairly disliked, -he isn't as perfect as the others.

Tim, are you actually watching the programme? Seems to me you have put far more time and effort into that coat business than you have retuning into E4. Please could we have no more about the coat and more about the show? Am I the only one who is actually enjoying the programme? It is much better than last summer's main show.

Brian made a surprise appearance in the house the other night. It was very funny but I guess you had to be there...

Welcome back Tim. I hope you enjoyed your holiday. We've had wet and windy weather here.
A peculiar BB series this year....the celebrity hijackers are more interesting than the housemates!
F-ing Janet S.P. told those f-ing housemates what to f-ing do, and they f-ing did it. Most of the housemates didn't know who she was, and her 'adult' vocabulary didn't really make her one of the gang. She seemed disconcerted that they had not read about her belly dance (??) in Heat/Hello/O.K/NOTW or where-ever.
The two St. Trinian's Girls ( Fifi and Peaches), should be back in school doing their GCSE revision, with special emphesis on public speaking. I can't remember anything about the show!
I have heard of Chris Moyles, but not seen him before. I could not see his Aunt Aggie, or the cow pie anywhere. Even with two helpers, ( his teenage producer, and the impressionist who only did Ozzy O.), the show was a let-down.
The Man in the Woollen Mask should have provided some excitement, and who knows, maybe the army recruitment offices have been mobbed by youngsters who now realize what fun they could have if they are lucky enough to be sent to the Middle East. However, those of us over the age of 18 just knew that the two kidnappees would not really be tortured, and would live to see another day. (And so it came to pass...).
Brian Sewell was the one bright spot. He was up there with Russell B. in providing an interesting and entertaining hour. Although only one or two of the housemates knew who he was, he really connected with them, and had a sympathetic and intelligent rapport with them all. They were sorry to see him go, and so was I.
I haven't seen the Joan Rivers BB yet, (it's on later tonight), but luckily Tim has told us what happens, so we might not bother to watch the show.

Oh Tim, are you ill? Six days absence and all you can muster is two sentences. Have you fallen out of love with BB, is that it? It is rubbish but come on, it's a long time till the summer...

Did someone say holiday? Er... No, sadly just working on my day job. Am I watching it? Did I get my TV fixed? Yes and no. On my TV, E4 is now effectively a radio station. I can get it, but without pictures. So I listen to the gifted teenagers occasionally; it's kind of like listening to Radio 4 with the added appeal of intermittent birdsong. It's not fun so I don't indulge that much. But convince me I'm wrong. Bye lovely Damian, enjoy Miami. Oh, and well done whoever it was who got a coat. Last night, on a job in Glasgow (Strictly Come Dancing: The Stage Tour, don't ask, weird central...) All Saints were all out of the Rocheeters. Coat-gate RIP.
