We have sound and vision

I've seen it. I love it. They show it in the mornings when I'm (occasionally) in the gym. Those kids are delightful. No-one's watching because they;re just nice kids sharing a house. I quite like the way they loaf about, not really doing that much. The McQueen sisters from Hollyoaks were not the best hijackers - their main cointrib seemed to be, "Get yer top off Anthony" - but hey... And I did like that quote from Brian Sewell, which I am probably now going to misquote, "Spinach is the most deceitful vegetable". Not sure what that means - but I found myself nodding vigorously.

That's what I've been trying to tell you all along! They all get on really well but THAT'S OKAY, It's a bit like Big Brother Lite.
Although the talking cats my daughter has just found on Youtube are infinitely more entertaining.

Well, Tim, if you need to know more about SPINACH, I shall reveal all. As Brian Sewell said: "Spinach is the most deceitful vegetable." He talks bollocks

In my opinion, the only way spinach is deceitful is because it doesn't count for much volume wise when either cooked or used raw in a salad.

Spinach is actually very good for you - packed with iron so especially good for pregnant ladies and Boxers like Anthony. Anyhow, good for all of us.

So much so, however, you have to counter the amount of iron in that one meal with a boiled egg with lots of protein. Don't ask me; ask my dad.

Meal for two: Boil a suitable amount of spuds and spinach (not together as spinach, either fresh or frozen, take litle time compared with spuds) At the same time - fry 100 grams of Lardons (bacon bits) in a wee bit of oil. When all is cooked to your taste, mash the spuds, spinach and lardons (including residue oil from frying pan) - no need for butter to mash! If really hungry (as I always am) heat up a Mattesons smokes sausage (from 89p to £1.10) and serve for two including the boiled egg to counter the iron.

Pheww - such a simple recipe made it look like climbing Mount Everest. I grew up with it and my hubby has loved it fom his first mouthful at 27. Not a pretty dish but a hearty one and simple to make

Sorry - just slipped my mind this is BB Blog so you may not want recipes - too late. Am not going to delete it now!

Looks like there might be a theme running through Celebrity Hijack - James suggested that John should get his top off when Mat and James were hi-jacking. In fact, he suggested that both he and John should get their moobs out and have a dip in the jacuzzi!

Maybe I'm an old cynic but it's cringey the way those teen geniuses get on. Give me a Charley and Chantal catfight any day... but then I read today that Amanda and Brian have split up which reminded me how cute they were last summer.

All the same, this BB is a cop out, you can only mess with the format so much and they're all so annoyingly young it lacks the clashing of age groups.

Hurrah - let's hear it for spinach. One of my favourite veggies. Alas, I cannot join in the debate about BB Highjack as my telly reception has completely gone to pot. I suspect the nasty neighbour with his dodgy power tools - might he be doing it on purpose, because he found out it was my cat that 'liberated' one of his pet canaries?
Anyway, I shall have to bite the bullet, stop being cheap and invest in one of those dish thingies to go on my roof - and do it in time for the PROPER BB in the summer.

Please do Gabrielle - what would we do without you. Though I understand the blog has been quiet partially because it's on E4, I think a few people are using this as an excuse not to give this series a proper go. Even a Freeview box will get you E4 (about £25 ish)

Even our Chief Bloggers aren't blogging much - to the extent that Damian has fled the Country to go and live in Miami.

I had to laugh when Tim couldn't even remember Emelia's name and called her 'Acrobatic Girl' or something like that life on BBBM tonight.

By the way, even though I think BBBM will never be the same without good ole Russ; Matt & James are a damn side better than putting up with nauseating egotrippers for a whole week at the time. Are you listening Channel 4 and Endemol! Give these guys a contract.

Mind you - what is BBLB going to do without the lovely Dermot? Doesn't bear thinking about but it will happen. So, again, my friends, the last time you will see Dermot in action either on BBLB or the main programme is on this series so I think this coming Monday is your last chance before seeing him on the Xfactor instead - You are warned.
