Dark Knight: DVD viral campaign seems to be starting up...

Gotham A number of Twitter accounts have spring to life over the last few days - with usernames like James Gordon, Rachel Dawes, Harley Quinn, Lucius Fox, The Joker, Harvey Dent  and Bruce Wayne.

They're all connected to one another so finding one will enable you to locate the others very easily.

All of the activity on them is 'in character' and has the air of a viral marketing campaign, presumably for the upcoming Dark Knight DVD release.

There's a new Gotham Police website too, that I don't think was part of the original movie's  launch hullaballoo..although by the time Dark Knight came out there were so many viral sites to keep track of it's hard to be sure!

The possibility exists that this is all the work of a group of dedicated Bat-fans. Certainly  Warners' generally very well-informed PR agency didn't seem to  have heard of it when contacted. Whatever it is, it's a nice source of low-level Bat-piffle to help us taper off after the massive geek-freindly sugar rush of the Dark Knight movie launch.
