Jason Staham is....Daredevil?

Jason_statham_01

Gruff-voiced british action star Jason Statham, interviewed  for the LA Times, has revealed his dream rôle:  Visually challenged  crimefighter Daredevil.

Hardly an obvious choice, either in appearance or in  vocal tone -  it's especially hard to imagine  hard nut for hire Statham litigating as Matt Mudock - but comic book heroes are the flavour of the year right now and it's natural for Statham to want to stake a claim of his own.

Perhaps he's just looked through the roster of heroes already filmed but without a currently active franchise and thought 'Blade...too black...Punisher...too much hair...Lobo? too much makeup...Daredevil it is!"

Jason needs to dig deeper into the long boxes. There's a perfect costumed adventurer waiting there for him, if only he knew it.

I think Jason Staham could be a great Punisher or how about The Preacher? A Punisher movie that wasn't shite would be nice.

Who the hell is Union Jack? You have Captain America in the US that stands for the truth, Justice etc. etc. What does the UK 'hero' stand for? The right to dress as a gimp? S&M rights for his fellow man? 1 decent UK hero isn't too much to ask, is it?
