Floyd Mayweather defeated Oscar De La Hoya on points in his last fight (AP)Floyd Mayweather Jr has not carried his power with him since he moved up through the weights. He has not scored a knockdown in a world-title contest since he boxed at lightweight.

everyone keeps going on about mayweather having bad hands and hasn't got a knockout punch but what they forget is that with mayweather having the longer reach he will cuts and that is what happen on the night and mayweather will win on a stoppage

Erm.... Looks like you're struggling.

I'm as hopeful as anybody, but I honestly can't think of any area physically or technically where it can be said Ricky's superior.

Ricky hits harder, maybe? You can only hope he's going to wear him down with work on the inside.

Can anyone shed some light on Joe Cortez and whether he's going to let Ricky work in close? I can't say I follow referees too much, though the Hatton Camp seem happy enough.
