BBC screens Haye v Maccarinelli

For those of you who missed out on seeing David Haye's demolition of Enzo Maccarinelli last weekend, the BBC is continuing its encouraging trend of showing big fights a week on. The action - it's listed as highlights, but I'm sure it will be the whole thing - will be shown on BBC2 at 12.30pm on Sunday.

Credit must be given to Setanta, who had the rights to the fight. But these situations often work out as mutually beneficial. When BBC showed Joe Calzaghe's bout with Mikkel Kessler last November, they were rewarded with 2 million viewers, while Calzaghe picked up the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award,  and Setanta are screening his bout with Bernard Hopkins on April 19, which could benefit from Joe's rise in popularity.

Talking of Setanta, they are showing the Manny Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez WBC super-featherweight title rematch from Las Vegas live overnight, starting on Setanta Sports 2 at 2am. The bill also features the WBO featherweight title bout between Steven Luevano and the wonderfully named Terdsak Jandaeng. The early undercard bouts are due to be streamed live on the internet on yahoo, but I have no idea if that works in the UK, so don't blame me if it doesn't.
