There's life after The West Wing
I am already looking forward to the arrival in the UK of Aaron "West Wing" Sorkin's new show, Studio 60 on Sunset Strip.
The first episode has just been shown in the US and the reviews are in. It's looking good.

Why has no senior civil servant been suspended and hopefully fired for conspiracy to mislead the public? The latest cases in hospital closures and now education results are current examples of lack of backbone of the senior civil service. One cynically may expect it from special advisors (on the public payroll)and I would not exempt them from disciplinary action. It's about time a permanent secretary was fired without sinecure for failing in his duty. Pour encourager les autres.

Aaron Sorkin has only ever worked with about 10 actors. The 'guest' in the first episode of Studio 60 is... Felicity Huffman.
