Indecent picture of Iranian President

Ahmadinejad_kiss

This is a great little story:

President Ahmadinejad of Iran yesterday found himself accused of breaking Islamic law with an “indecent” public act, after he could not resist embracing and kissing the hand of his former primary school teacher, an elderly woman, at an impromptu reunion.

Say, I've got an idea. Why don't we let these people have nuclear weapons. What could possibly go wrong?

I agree. It would be insane to let a country that goes into a puritanical frenzy over public kissing have nuclear weapons.

Like those Hindi extremists going nuts over Richard Gere.

Thank God the Indians don't have the Bomb!

Baffled,
India and Iran aren't the same countries and Hindi is a language, not a group of people. People have a fun time getting worked up over silly little things in every country. It's a way to cope with the fact that there are millions of people starving and dying.
Also, the Indian government has had nuclear technology since the 1950s.
This is a country that was home both to the Iranian Revolution and the White Revolution. It's difficult to imagine that there could've been both!
