The Twofer arrives...

Here it is. A Comment Central first. And, I think, a UK blogging first too.

We're now able to bring you two-way webcam interviews, allowing me to talk to bloggers and Times correspondents all over the world.

The first Twofer is a discussion I had with super-blogger Stephen Pollard a couple of hours ago on this morning's Tory launch.

It crackles a bit, but that's the price of being a pioneer.

(Thanks to Tom and Murad at The Times and to Scott and Aron at Sightspeed)

Can I just apologise to Danny and Stephen for the expressions frozen on their faces by the Google video thingy...

Looks like one of those Eye 'separated at birth' thingies.

ohhh yes, more of this stupidity and "grit". Are you brothers?

Seriously, this is good banter and much, much better than Toady. Sorry, Today. Keep it going, please.....

For several seconds during the course of the video, while Stephen Pollard is talking, Danny looks like he might have died suddenly of some sort of massive stroke.

Good fun, though. Nice showing by Stephen Pollard. I think Pollard is quite right, incidentally, that there's a limit to what can be achieved by chipping away at red tape and fat in the system. Apart from anything else, the electorate doesn't buy it, in my experience.
