Top 10 political ringtones
1. Barack Obama supports universal healthcare ringtone: Available alongside a number of other Obama ringtones
2. West Wing theme music ringtone: Absurd but somehow fantastic
3. Tony Blair parody ringtone: Moderately amusing but now out of date. No sign of a Gordon Brown tone, although if you put your phone on vibrate it simulates his bass rumble quite nicely
4. Richard Nixon is proud of you ringtone: Simply fabulous tone using Nixon's communication with the Apollo 11 astronauts
5. The Internationale ringtone: The stirring music strikes up as you appreciate the irony of playing the socialist anthem on an instrument brought to you by telecommunications deregulation
6. Things Can Only Get Better ringtone: Every time your phone rings you can remind yourself of the 1997 election campaign and new Labour's election theme
7. John F Kennedy ringtone: With the voice of the late President announcing that he is a Berliner (though some say his German was poor and he is actually saying that he is a doughnut). Set to music.
8. Hilarious George Bush ringtones: These will not be hilarious, or George Bush for that matter. But at least they are trying.
9. The Iranian National Anthem ringtone: Show solidarity with Ahmadinejad and the boys every time you receive a call.
10. Paul Keating and John Howard ringtone: Scarcely believable mix of two Australian politicians. Baffle your friends.

'Berliner' in German DOES actually mean Doughnut - therefore Ich bin ein Berliner can be taken as I am a doughnut or I am a Berliner.

I noticed on Sanjeev Baskar's series about India recently that the Maharajah of Jodhpur has someone to carry, dial and presumably answer his phone for him. Presumably he doesn't care what the ringtone is, so long as it's quiet.
Now that's real style.
