Why faking your campaign ads is a bad idea
The Fact Checker points to a Chris Dodd ad, now causing a stir in America. Both barbers are played by actors, despite a campaign press release suggesting the contrary.
Almost more interesting though is the terrible acting. Faking your ads is one thing. But paying someone good money for this level of work must really rankle.

Uhmm, are you taking your medication? This is one of the most benign ads to be aired since the 1970's and certainly is not causing any stir here in America. The scariest thing about the whole ad is the proximity of the scissors to that boy's eye!
