Would Bon Jovi give Jersey a bad name?

Bon_jovi

Bon Jovi has just revealed his latest ambition. No, not another hit song or best-selling album. Instead, he's gunning for the governorship of New Jersey. Well, you got to keep the faith.

The rocking resident has reportedly hired the PR behind David Dinkins, the infamous New York City mayor. And despite moving to Manhattan, he's deliberately keeping resident status in the Garden State.

Bon Jovi may think he needs little more than a prayer to win this. But we've come up with a competitor who would wipe the floor with him...Bruce Springsteen, voice of New Jersey itself.

And after all, he was born to run.

No wannabe stars have what Arni has.
He is one of a kind and a good Gov.
Landslide re- election proves it.

A Bon Jovi governorship could settle the outstanding question of where to find Greeks in New Jersey.

That's not nothing.

I hope he does run...let these liberals see just how popular their views are...They get money, people listen to them, and they think they actually are smart. It's astounding.

As a resident of New York City, I take strong exception to your reference to former Mayor David Dinkins as "infamous." During a difficult time in the city's history, he provided strong leadership on a range of issues from combatting AIDS and crime (it was he who secured the state funding for a massive expansion of the police force and started the drop in crime that Rudy Giuliani takes credit for) to establishing the city's domestic partner registry. He only lost to Giuliani by 50,000 votes in a city of 8 million people. And he is still contributing to making this a more civil city, unlike his divisive successor Giuliani. By the way, if Rudy is elected president, you will be longing for the Golden Age of Bush. Giuliani is a thug with no regard for the Constitution.

FACT IS THIS GUY IS DUMB AS A ROCK. THE THOUGHT OF HIM TRADING ON HIS CELEBRITY STATUS TO ATTAIN PUBLIC OFFICE FREIGHTENS ME TO DEATH. HE WILL JOIN THE RANKS OF HOWARD STERN IN HIS BIG FOR GOVENORSHIP. BIRDS OF A FEATHER FLOCK TOGETHER.

lol at Giuliani is a thug. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

I Grew up in Jersey. I love it here. But I have been considering moving my self and my manufacturing business out of New Jersey.
High taxes, poor workforce, governmental interference and high costs of business have hounded us for a while now.
Though he cannot be any worse than our current criminal in chief, Jon Corzine another limousine liberal we do not need.

If Bon Jovi or Springsteen wins... we move, take our jobs with us and Jersey loses.
Vote carefully Jersey.

Jim Cramer of Mad Money fame is definitely running for something. Oh, and I predicted Arnold's run 10 years ahead of the fact.

Born to run. Nice.

How about Tony Soprano? I heard he's tough on crime and tough on the causes of crime.
