Mike Huckabee has delivered some of the most arresting lines of the campaign. Asked a few days ago if he was discouraged by John McCain's lead in delegates acquired, he replied that he had majored not in math but in miracles. And even though he lost to McCain in both Maryland and Virginia yesterday in what has been called the Potomac Primary, he still scored heavily among the most conservative, evangelical voters, who will probably end up voting for the Senator in the general election but are unlikely to do so with enthusiasm, unless they decide not to vote at all. His presence, among other things, has pushed McCain to the right.
