Who do you want to answer the phone?

That's the question asked by the latest Hillary Clinton ad.

As Real Clear Politics suggests, there are shades of the infamous Daisy ad by Lyndon B. Johnson

If anyone should be answering the "phone" it should be John McCain!

Another brilliant move by the Hillary campaign. Of the bunch who are still running, the answer is obvious: Johnny Boy.

Concerning the second ad which ran for Lyndon Johnson in 1964: one old codger remarked, "They told me if I voted for Goldwater in '64, I would get a war. I voted for Goldwater, and sure enough I got a war!" He was referring to Vietnam, of course.

Did you notice how long it took her to answer the phone?

I don't want Bamma, Hillarity or McGoon.... The ONLY hope for America is that Ron Paul is in the White House and we'll be putting America, it's economy and our military back on track.

One can only hope.

Regardless who wins it seems America is morally lost, wondering to itself whether water boarding is torturous enough to be called "torture" or not. And what about naked prisoner stacking? and 'peroneal strikes'? what about a boot stamping on a human face forever?

Tsk. Quoting Orwell is morally lazy and epistolically boring.
