Does America really want Clinton style Socialism? Unfortunately it's essential to preempt any Clinton speech with a hefty dose of truth serum. In the latest debate, Hillary regurgitated her familiar mantra that she would veto the falsely maligned Bush taxcuts which resuscitated the U.S. economy from the inherited Clinton recession; but, which Hillary says favor only the rich. That tired old populist ploy of "soak the rich". However , a brief review of IRS statistics related to post-Bush tax cut revenues reveals exactly the opposite. Specifically, the share of individual income taxes paid by the bottom 40% of American taxpayers, as a result of expanded child tax credits and earner income tax credits, was reduced from 0% to a -4%; and, took another ten million low income Americans completely off of the tax roles. That is, a very significant four(4) % decrease. On the other end of the scale, the tax burden on the top 20% of income earners, the so-called rich, increased to a full 85% of the total tax burden. For example a Single Individual making 30K paid $8400 in taxes under Clinton; under Bush $4500. A married couple making 60K: under Clinton $16,800, under Bush $9000. So Hillaryspeak, an economic strategy that left our Nation in a RECESSION on the Clinton's departure from the White House, would damage the poor more then any other group. One can summarize this quite simply by noting that IF Hillary's Marxist philosophies of soaking the rich were valid, Communist societies throughout the world would be exorbitantly wealthy, in lieu of economic basket cases a' la Castro's Cuba. The same can be said of her forced plan for Socialized Medicine. A program which is failing miserably in such Nations as Canada and the United Kingdom. Canada, as just one example, is now experiencing a dramatic shortfall in physicians. The American electorate should carefully evaluate the Marxist rhetoric coming from the Hillary campaign and her minions. Greg Neubeck

As a university teacher with four kids living in Maine and Califonnia I could not afford adequate medical coverage and went to a doctor only when desperate. As a teacher in Canada since 1966 I have never once suffered from inadequate medical care, nor have my kids. Sometimes we have to wait because rich AND poor are in line ahead of you and occasionally something goes wrong, that is true. Call it socialized medicine if you want to because 'socialism' is a scare word in America, but up here it means we all get a fair shake in medical care. It is not true to say in Canada 'Socialized Medicine' is 'failing miserably.'

America has been a Powerful Nation no doubt, but the biggest problem America faces, the American Dream died. There was a time America got the best educated people in the world immigrating there, unfortunately American government stopped noticing the kinds of people that are coming to America these days, Britain lost the best educated people to Americica, in the 70's afer the 2nd world war they got the best from Germany had to offer. Now its Mexcians and Latinos who have no skills, so the best Jobs are going to Indians and people from China. Education in schools in America is lacking, with no one to do the work people are moving whole Companies to China and India, because the average American has no ability to transform ideas into wealth, happy to eat too much and produce kids the American government has to take into care and the rest are in prison, or on death rowe, or call girls/Prostitutes or aspiring Rap singers. the rest is not fit to take money at the till at MC'Donnalds, or Wall Mart. Most can read with difficulty. Have no knowledge of their own History, most could not find Iraq on a map let alone know if they are a threat to America. Ignorance breeds contempt. This is how the Americans got lost, when they were taking out their mortgage many could not even read the small print, to realise they were in no position to take on that kind of debt. The people selling these finiancial package, hope was they could take back the homes sell it at a profit, no one saw the economic problem due to lack of basic education, for the bank to take back the homes and make money on it twice, it would mean that people had jobs and could afford it. Few smart Bankers would take on Monkeys to run their financial affairs. Hence America has to over look their own people and look to foreign Educated people for Jobs in important positions in America. This is why Obama is so popular because he attracts the more Educated people of America & Hillary attracts the idiots, because they do not understand the fundemental facts, it is not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country, how many Americans understand that simple logical fact 0.01%. Many over eat and have low self esteem, and have no plans for a future. They are happy with low education, and low expectations. To find the problem in your Country look at your self, and if you are hanging out on street corners the most your future will hold in a Prison place, not a University place, any country in the world who has a lower self expectation of its citizen would be in an African Tin Pot Dictatorship, America has out of every 100 Citizen 2 are in prison 60% lives in poverty. It's not a Colour
thing or a Racial thing it is a reality thing. The rest of the Educated world knows that and it reflect on how people view Americans. The Crime Movies is how American sells them selves, the rapes & murders, is how the world views America and the Drug Crimes, the Prostitutes, people with no ambitions in life, no moral values is how America is seen through the eyes of the world. You can't change the way you are viewed till you are willing to change your self, people may have a different opinion of you. Obama is about the most Honest Candidate out there he is willing to tell people they need to change, and the Country needs change. Big Business needs foreign workers because they have the education Americans don't have. Thats is why Obama is telling the people education is important and it cant wait, to have two generations of degenerates, no country on earth can sustain that level of low moral education, and self worth. Vote Hillary and die in the Mysery of Ignorance.

Your, I can only presume, well researched tax breakdown was very illuminating; however, I can report from the U.K. that 'Socialized Medicine' is not 'failing miserably' but in reasonably good health. We are proud of our National Health Service and many in the U.K. believe the U.S. system to be a scandal. Whilst the NHS is by no means perfect, it is a fine and laudable institution. It also has almost nothing to do with Marxism. You seem to be confusing Marxism with Socialism with Public institutions.
Also, your argument about "soaking the rich" is logically flawed (Straw Man fallacy).

The fact that Hillary Clinton is already acting "as if" she's won the nomination is dangerous to the stability of the Democratic Party. I never did not buy the conspiracy theory that Bush stole the White House by contesting the '00 election. But based on the sleazy tactics and behaviors within the Hillary Clinton camp against Obama as of late, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if I learned that Big Al with the help of Bill and Hill were the ones trying to "steal" the '00 election. Hillary needs to cool off and take a cue from the GOP, who seem like they got their act together and going about it in a way that says 'those are the kind of people I want running my country'. No Obama as Prez in '08, no chance of Democrats winning the election. It's clear-- Hillary IS a monster.

Do you realize that poverty in America is still a better standard of living than many countries? Do you realize that "in the 70's after WWII" is an asanine statement, given that there were two other major conflicts between WWII and the 70's? Do you realize that the vast majority of outsourced labor is for the lowest paying jobs, not the highly technical ones? Do you realize that the ones "moving whole companies" are- wait for it- AMERICANS, transforming ideas into wealth by cutting labor costs? Do you realize what an idiot you look like spouting so-called facts? Oh, by the way, try learning to spell before you rant about the uneducated masses here in America, you 2nd grade dropout.
