Breakfast in the House of Commons and you realise how deeply the culture of spin is now embedded in politics.
MPs can order two eggs, two rashers of bacon, two sausages, buttered toast and a cup of coffee as a breakfast special.
The name given for this greasy fry-up? The High Protein Breakfast.
And, interestingly, we subsidise their food to the tune of £5 million a year, too.
Given the pork content of that plate that's snouts in the trough in two ways.

Come on, Daniel, when I worked at the Commons the best bit of the day for my MP and me was having eggs and bacon in Strangers' after the 10.OOpm vote. But that was when Parliament worked proper hours!
