Explaining the Higgs boson particle

If you missed it, take a look at Mark Henderson's excellent piece on the CERN's large Hadron Collider. The new plaything for physicists is due to start unravelling the secrets of the universe next week.

So now's the perfect time for those of us who have forgotten our GCSE physics to check out this LHC rap. Funny and surprisingly useful.

Dear Captain Fishburn, a bosun is a "warrant officer or petty officer in charge of a ship's rigging, anchors, cables, and deck crew" (contraction of boatswain). I believe the word you wanted was 'boson'. If I'm wrong, I'll follow the voyages of HMS Higgs with interest.
