A rumour about the reshuffle

Miliband_and_darling_2 Just a rumour this. But well sourced enough to pass on.

The suggestion generally made is that if there is to be a proper reshuffle and the Chancellor is moved, Alistair Darling will swap posts with David Miliband.

I have heard that there is a plan instead to move Darling to the Home Office.

re-arranging deckchairs no doubt

Would Miliband take it though? Would you really want the job as chancellor when the economy of the country is on a sinking ship? Methinks Gordon is doing this on purpose so it will go against Milipede in a future leadership election.

Despite being PM, Brown still continues to run the treasury, be sure!

So the Raj, Scottish minority rule of us English, is to continue on and on and on....to keep the SNP happy. Better not say anything, might 'give offence'. And the BBC support this scottophiliac culture - cos Labour likes it.

..And what effect would that have?

We all know Brown runs everything. We all know he is an over-regulating, meddling, authoritarian incompetent.

Darling is a puppet and as for the boy Milliband. Didn't we all have acquaintances like him at school and do our level best to avoid them...

Someone should tell him that using words like 'dissing' doesn't make him look cool, it makes him look like a prat. They should also tell him that he is supposed to be The British Foreign Secretary, not a Student Union President.

What a prat.

Errrrrrrrr! Do you mean that Mini Brain will do a Des Browne and have a foot in each Department failing miserably at both while the ex chancellor who never really left the Treasury uses him for a glove puppet instead of Darling? Or am I being too macchiavellian in my reasoning?

How about just moving Darling to the Post Office?
Probably suit his abilities slightly better, won't have to count up in billions anyway.
I have just realised I am insulting all long suffering post office workers, my apologies.
He could'nt do your job.

that grinning jackanapes is the Foreign secretary? surely not

Even the Post Office needs a leader who understands finance which neither Darling or Miliband appear to do. Glad to hear you love being governed by the Scottish "elite" The Scots have had 300 years of these incompetents. We wish you well, but anticipate the worst.

Woodward for Number 11 someone told me. Obviously J Smith is toast. Blears to back benches naturally. It was the Times What Done it!

The UK government (and opposition party for that matter) constitute a collection of village idiots all pretending to know how best to ward off the evil dragon.
The evil dragon is a washed up economy thanks to the greed of many. You have nobody to blame but yourselves, that's the beuty of a democracy. Bit of a self-serving prophecy thing going on I feel.

I watched Mr. Darling say, in his speech, that they, the Labour Party, had the best leader and the best team to tackle the country's problems. Gordon Brown was seen to agree with him.

Why then, will there be a reshuffle in a few weeks? Are they telling lies or is it true that they don't know what they are doing?
