Wonder Woman takes on Sarah Palin

Wonderwoman

When Sarah Palin swooped in to the rescue of the Republican ticket, there were several breathless comparisons to Wonder Woman.

But although she's admitted a fondness for black go-go boots, not everyone agrees that she's earned the label.

Including Wonder Woman herself.

Lynda Carter, who defined the booted superhero in the 1970s, had this to say:

Don’t get me started. She’s the anti-Wonder Woman. She’s judgmental and dictatorial, telling people how they’ve got to live their lives. And a superior religious self-righteousness … that’s just not what Wonder Woman is about. Hillary Clinton is a lot more like Wonder Woman than Mrs. Palin. She did it all, didn’t she?

I wonder if she uses her Lasso of Truth on Bill.
