Comment Central challenge: animal analogies

Seagull

When we're not burying our heads like ostriches, we're following the leader like a flock of sheep. There's nothing like the animal kingdom for providing us with ammunition for analogies.

So the fact that Norman Tebbit's popped up with this maxim should come as no surprise:

...one has to say that George Osborne should remember that those who sleep with dogs will get fleas.

Of course, Tebbit has a long way to go before he can rival Eric Cantona's eloquence:

When the seagulls follow the trawler, its because they think sardines will be thrown in to the sea.

But the challenge, Comment Central readers, is now yours. Who else will we remember for their creature comparisons? And what examples can you come up with?

This old chestnut serves as a reprimand for Osborne: "If you're going to hunt big game you had better kill with the first shot."

The obvious one is Churchill...."some chicken, some neck".
