DC gets ready to party. Inaugaristas will be able to celebrate Obama's swearing-in in convivial style. According to the Caucus:
The District of Columbia is extending the hours in which alcohol can be served to 5 a.m. and allow restaurants to stay open 24 hours a day, from Jan. 17 to Jan. 21.

The DC City Council has voted to let the bars keep pouring until 5 a.m. on inauguration week. I wonder what a Baracktail tastes like. Or will they be selling Obamatinis? Paul Dirks (The Page) wisely observes, "I can see it now....People wandering the streets looking for change they can relieve in."
