Inauguration Madness Day 3: The lava lamp

Lava_lamps_4Less than a week to go, Comment Central readers. And so much wonderful inauguration memorabilia still to accumulate.

I'm assuming that your state-of-the-art Obama masks are in the mail and that the tattoo parlour appointments are all booked.

But there's still something's missing. Does the light of Barack shine on your bedside table?

No? Well, get going. This may be your last chance to become the proud owner of an Obama Lava Lamp. The company has this to say about their inauguration special:

We believe this lamp captures Mr. Obama’s charisma and optimism, which are reinforced with the words “Yes We Can” on the back of the lamp

And now, for just $39.99, you can too.

Do you get a complimentary Obama Bong to chug on whilst you sit and watch it?

That'd be great.

Obama Lava Lamp for $39.99?

It would be funny if it were not so sad that some people are actually buying these things.

Oh, cheer up, it's a kitschy little gift from one of the most historic events in American History. Lighten up, folks.
