The moustache is back. After years of tragic disuse and abuse, this commanding symbol of manly authority (and its current backdrop, Bob Ainsworth) has made a celebrated return to Cabinet in the reshuffle.

Bob’s moustache is the first proper version to enter the cabinet on the face of a Labour minister in around 40 years, so it seems somehow serendipitous that Russian bloggers have just compiled a list of the top moustachioed celebrities of all time – and shaved them of their facial hair.
