Saudi women drivers?

Good piece in the Washington Post about King Abdullah's likely relaxation of the law against women driving in Saudi Arabia.  He is, it seems,  in favour of modernizing this rule but moving cautiously, as traditionalists see it as the thin end of the wedge.  There is something powerful and man-challenging about cars...(ask Jeremy Clarkson).  But it would be a step in the direction of freedom. Women have signed major petitions about it.
