Fifty people blinded by Virgin Mary "vision"

A troubling story from the Kottayan district of India.  Dozens of people have lost their sight from photochemical burns on the retina since Friday, apparently after staring at the sun after a hotelier (hmm) claimed visions of the Virgin Mary at his hotel.  Churches have disowned the miracle and the hotelier has moved.  Somewhere unpleasant, one must hope. 

    There is a history of dangerous exploitation of the human longing for miracles and apparitions.   Those who (like me) are not without faith yet  the whole business of miracle-mongering uneasy may enjoy this sceptical website,  and its conclusion that "Miracles, though interesting, are abhorrent for they serve religious rulers not God.  It is not God but human interpretations of him and assumptions about him...the money you pay religion doesn’t do God any good.  It doesn’t go into God’s bank account."

Secondly God Hates These Things. People Kneel Before These Things..Pray TO Them..Have Processions To Them. Then We Hear About These "Miracle Appearences" Worldwide And People Blindly Hop On An Airplane With Other Gullible Folks And Go Visit These Places. Qho Gers The "Glory" Out Of This? (1) The RCC (2) The Devil Who Produces This Hoax.

The RCC is among other things a Buisness. Their "Buisness" which rakes in Millions upon millions in Revenue Each Year. How? Worldwide Sales Of Booklets..Videos..Trips To Mysterious "Apparition Sites"..Rosary Beads..Statues (Graven Images)..Medals. You Name It They Got It!

People are Blinded and lured into this emotional trap out of Spiritual Ignorance. (Meaning they would rather listen and believe people dressed up in religious garments then read The word of God which spells out exactly what God thinks of all this.
Here is an Example; Isaiah 41 v 29; "Behold..they are all vanity; their works are nothing their molten images are wind and confusion."

One more example; Isaiah 46 verses 4 to 7 "And even to your old age I AM he; even to white hair will I carry you. I have made and I will bear; even I will carry And deliver you.

To whom will ye liken me and make me equal and compare me that we may be like?

They lavish Gold out of the bag..and weigh silver in the balance and hire a goldsmith and he maketh a god they fall down yea they worship.

They bear him upon the shoulder..they carry him..and set him (or Her) in his place. and he standeth from his place shall he not remove yea one shall cry out to him (her).

yet can he not answer nor save him out of his trouble?"
