When is a church a car?
This is Miss Valadi, an Iranian Kurd and Christian, seeking asylum in Norway, who has been wheeled in her car, which she says is a church, through downtown Oslo, with a torchlit procession. She is in "church asylum" and only in the car could she demonstrate. The local bishop won't consecrate it because he says it is not a church. It is complicated. Meanwhile a survey suggests that 51 per cent of Norwegians are fully believing Christians. Which is high, in modern Europe.
