Botox is not halal
Debate rages on - in some quarters - as to whether Botox should be banned to Muslims (as it is by some Islamic authorities) because it invoves using pigs' milk. The makers say indignantly that while the manufacturing process grows bactera in enzymes from pig milk, there is no trace of it in the finished product. It gets screened out.
Ugh. Forget religion, strangely I find I am right off the idea anyway. But if you do require Halal beauty products, here they are. Myself, I am still using that hand cream made by Norwegian nuns and sold by Ampleforth. Very nice. No pigs involved.
