This silly site offers ten 'proofs' that Google is, in fact, God.  Its only drawback is that all the links ("Ten Google Commandments..Read our hilarious hate mail" etc)  do not work.  Whoops.
     Besides, nobody can claim that Google created anything whatsoever in its vast immensity of knowledge.  It's a great big lovely parasite, that's what it is...

Nice little story on this geeksite - after the TV series The Monastery, the Abbot of Worth got a former pupil to sort out his website links and a Google Adwords account.  Which has just brought in its first vocation, a young man  who found it that way.  "If it hadn't been for the Internet"  says the novice monk "I'd probably still be a software engineer".

The most 'Googled' question of 2007 in the Who is ...? category was "Who is God?" according to Google Zeitgeist.

"Who is Jesus?" came fourth and "Who is Satan?" tenth, beaten by "Who is buckethead?" in sixth position.
