Fergie, Sign Tevez up!!!

Tevez_2 Carlos Tevez. According to Maradona he’s the ‘Argentinean prophet for the 21st century’ – no disrespect to Maradona, but, I am not sure quite how true that is. What I cannot deny is how vital he is at Old Trafford.

Recently though his future with United has been less than certain. Why?

Obviously, we all know any transfer involving Tevez is a slippery affair. The initial two-season loan deal United struck up with Media Sports Investments / Just Sports Investments / Kia Joorabchian / West Ham / Sheffield United (delete as appropriate) runs until the end of the current season. Rumours in the national and increasingly in the local press are suggesting Tevez is growingly increasingly frustrated with the delay in offering him a permanent deal and becoming disillusioned with his role as fall guy since the arrival of Berbatov.

Anybody who watches football regularly and, in particular has followed United over the past 14 months, will know how valuable Tevez is. His ability to come up with a vital goal, his willingness to chase a lost cause in a manner similar to Rooney, the fact he scored a winner at Anfield and helped get Drogba (who, in my opinion, enjoys diving as much as Ronaldo) sent off in the Champions League final show why he is an Old Trafford favourite.

Of course, there are statements coming out of Old Trafford suggesting there is little need to be worrying about Tevez’s future. Perhaps the official party line is the one United fans should be listening to. Murmurs of discontent are never welcome reading, though.

The message from me is short and sweet. Fergie, Sign him up!

If we can spend £30M+ on Berbatov then stumping up something similar for Tevez should be a matter of urgency. Also, even if we sign him for none of the reasons I have mentioned, at least he is friends with Messi should the wonder kid ever feel the need to leave Barcelona.

Im sorry but i can't believe how anyone who has watched Tevez over the last year can say he is world class, yes he works hard and got some vital goals last season but he gives the ball away a lot and I think we should sign someone else.

I hope Carlos leaves Old Trafford, for his own sake. United is about to experience a recession of sorts, as both Ronaldo and Sir Butt Cheeks (Fergie) will soon be gone. I personally would like to see him along side of Zlatan at Inter. For some odd reason, Rooney (one of the most overrated players on the planet) continues to have a guaranteed starting role. Sure he's on a bit of a hot streak, but where's the consistency? Tevez clearly plays a superior brand of football, yet he sits. If Ronaldo leaves and/or they keep disrespecting Tevez by relegating him to the bench, I will give all of my United gear and apparel to someone who is willing to cheer for Wayne Rooney, because I certainly am not.

Keep in mind we are talking about the best team in Europe as of late, and if Carlos can shine on a team like that he deserves more respect then he's been given. You need players like Carlos because he is a consistent star no matter what the task at hand is. If the team dosen't sign him permantly then I think they need to figure out what level of talent they are really looking for. Tevez is a package deal that would gel with any team so I hope they can come to an agreement soon.

A vital player who played as big a part in last seasons success as any player. Against Blackburn, Lyon, Tottenham and Roma when things were looking bad, he popped up and of course that goal at Anfield. Sign him up double quick!

As much as I like Tevez and think he is a good player I still feel that £35 Million could be better spent...I am not quite sure he is worth that level of money

Hardest worker on the field.
His attacking against Barca's defense from the foward position saved Manu's chestnuts in the second game as they had to quickly pop up bad passes which Manu's midfielders captured. The guy is an runs like a Cheeta which most defenses cannot cover and are forced to just knock him down. He is not given respect by the bigoted British officials on this matter and must be really dying playing behind this Sulkatov who has done little for ManU. Fergie will rue the day Tevez goes to another team and his defenders have to chase him down. Luckily it was his dream to play at ManU and he is a team player, family man, and quiet guy.
Imagine Rooney or CR sitting on the bench waiting for the new guy(Sulkatov) to gel with the team?!
I think Fergie feels that it is only a matter of time until one of the strikers gets injured and then he will be back to full time. Stupid idea but what else could he be thinking. Sulkatov should be on the bench not Carlitos!

Tevez is probably going to Man City!

yiiihhhhaaaa!

If I were Benitez I would be swooping over Tevez with my best offers. Tevez is better than Rooney and Bervatov. Tevez covers more than double the distance in each game than Bervatov does. What a fool Ferguson is in treating Tevez this way.

Haha..

Your sugar daddy is going broke and u guys still talking 30 million pound like 30 quid.

Get real...

Sooner rather than later all your stars will be crossing over to the blue side. You can keep your Gigsy, Scholsy all the sissies. Also your Brownies and Gary Nipple

We signed Berbatov for more than 30 million pounds not 30 thousand. Carlitos will be signed by United but probably not before the end of the season. His transfer fee is 32 million pounds and I don't think United have the cash to buy him right now.

Tevez is hard working and he can always give a wonderful gig of attack.

He's a vital guard for the red devil

I think Carlosito can be another legend like Ole for Old Traford.

SO,sir, Sign him on! Rapido!

i think Carlosito can be the second Ole for Old Traford.

So, Sir, Sigh him on!!!!

Nicely summarised Craig. Tevez is hard working and a vital cog in the United attacking unit.

I wonder if he was English would he be more highly rated than Wayne Rooney, I personally think he is a better player.
