Nell's episode of Something Special

03 is on CBeebies tomorrow, Thursday 17th, at 9am and again at 12. Here's a screen-grab (quite brave, to go on a big wheel with a film crew and Justin - if I were three, I might have resisted).

Something Special is absolutely wonderful. Congratulations on Nell's appearance. My daughter benefitted from the series, without it she would not have been able to communicate. She can now speak without any problems but for sometime she relied on Makaton and Something Special was the only programme which used it so extensively.

I just saw this episode of Something Special with my daughter today (so they must be repeating it). My little girl who is 3 also has no disabilities but absolutely loves Justin and Mr Tumble and learning new signs. I think it's one of the most valuable - and most entertaining - programmes made by CBeebies.

Also -having read so much about India and Nell - I was quite moved watching the programme. She is a beautiful and engaging little poppet. A great credit to you, India.

I saw it and loved it. She's gorgeous. Also really nice to see something special move outside the studio.

Did anyone else see Justin's "Cliff Tumble" in a later episode?

Just wanted to say that our daughter Emma is addicted to Something Special - and the 'theme park' episode featuring Nell is her current favourite. I think its a shame that because this programme features children with special needs it is often regarded by parents as being only suitable for that group. I sometimes get mildly raised eyebrows because Emma (who doesn't have any disabilities that we know of) watches it. But she benefits so much from it - we taught her 'baby signing' before she could talk, and this programme built on that brilliantly. At nearly two she has a vast vocabulary (which I attribute at least in part to Something Special), but still signs as well. I intend to encourage her to keep building on her signing as she grows - what a fantastic skill to grow up with.

Saw the episode - was fantastic! Loved seeing Nell's daddy running around waving!

It was really uplifting, especially seeing Nell enthusiastically pointing out the Tiny Trucks etc. while up in the big wheel with Justin.

Absolutely gutted I missed it! We turned on at 9.20 and were too late (then had portage here at 12 and forgot to set DVD to record..). Is there any way of seeing it online do you know? Extra cross as I had written it down in my diary too! Hope you enjoyed watching it.

Holy crap, she's a lot braver than me.I'd resist going on a big wheel and I'm 47 - Justin or no Justin.
