Flintoff the Blunderhorse
Regular readers of this blog will recall that the England captain is not the only furry-faced creature called Flintoff to be having a testing winter. Flintoff the horse, a gelding part-owned by Andrew Flintoff, has come second in his past two races, at Towcester and Fontwell.
The valiant steed is racing again at 2.25pm on Saturday at Bangor. Those with a few spare pounds in their pocket may be tempted to invest in him, although an each-way bet is probably sensible.
