2: (B) Four. Headingley 1983; Trent Bridge 1986 and Lord's and the Oval in 1999.

3: (A) Smith by some distance, with 810 runs. Strauss has 540 and Sehwag 658.

4: (A) Hayden by a whisker, with 7,714 runs. Ponting is second with 7,632. Tendulkar, with 5,366, is only tenth.

5: (C) Arafat has taken 22, Harmison and Bresnan have each taken 15.

6: (B) Tomlinson took eight for 46 for Hampshire against Somerset. Bond and Davies each have seven-wicket hauls.

7: (A) Udal

8: (C) It's six: Pakistan in 1999, India 2005, Australia 2005, Sri Lanka 2006, India 2007 and South Africa 2007.

9: (B) 246 not out against India at Headingley.

10: (B) Zaheer Abbas, for Pakistan against India at Lahore.
