he is a miserly soul who takes pleasure in depriving others of life's pleasures. I was waiting for him to share with us his plans for taxing contraception.....

Because as a ventriloquest's dummy, he hasn't quite got the hang of turning his head to look at his 'master' when he says something particularly stupid.

like most of the mindless New Labour drones, he voted in favour of the most disgraceful legislation in living memory - The Identity Cards Act 2006.

I wouldn't like to be in his shoes when he finally realises the full horror of what he has done.

I think he and his `Master` have just lost the general election, whenever it happens.

.. for a ventriloquist's dummy he can't even claim to have been well constructed. Black eyebrows and white hair could mean he was a cheap import that has then been re-built from Treasury offcuts at some point

...he has to cover up for Gordon Brown who in turn is covering up for New Labour. Remember the party who accidentally took the wrong path even if it was sign posted ‘economic depression’. Sometimes I wonder how much governing the government actually do – maybe we can solve all our problems by increasing taxes…

If he thinks he has helped pensioners by giving them £50 a year .... less than £1 a week one beer or glass of wine with friends or family is obviously not an opton with rise in tax more than cancelling the help Enjoy your retiring years you sad loser' Mr Darling

Posted by: p rance | 13 Mar 2008 13:20:24

Because he may not realise he is the fall guy for Brown, and the greedy tax free expense milking MPs.

Posted by: Marty | 13 Mar 2008 21:38:00

....Because: A) Northern Rock was hardly his fault, yet he was expected to have some magic solution, and B) the photo makes him look like a scarecrow?
