« Local Elections: Tories to break through in North East and Wales? | All Posts | But what about President Bush's relationship with Brown? »

What did Gordon think of the first 10 minutes of the Sarko speech?

Gordon Brown was nodding vigorously at the start of President Sarkozy's passionate speech to both Houses of Parliament, apparently in strong agreement with the French head of state.

Which was odd, since he doesn't speak French and (unlike his wife Sarah) did not put on his headphones until about ten minutes into the speech.

Brown - 'The Nodder', n'est-ce pas?

Brown doesn't speak English either - every time he says "varl-yews" or "constitu'ncy" I cringe. And what about "Dai-ly-llama" - it sounds like dilemma - which is what we've got.

Do we continue to put up with this sub-prime PM for next two years or should we do what the French have been known to do to their unpopular and unelected heads of state?
