Not exactly bad - just the British way. We don't like corny sentimentality as a convincing medium, preferring to talk about things other than vague "yes we can"s.

Actually I think it's pretty good.

You're comparing movie style ads with large budgets and global celebrities to something that's gritty & authentic...

the one produced by the anti regional assembly campaign in the North East was a good one.

Maybe it was a tribute to "24" - they just needed the sound of a ticking clock. Although not even Jack Bauer could be in four places at once. Still, they'll need his sort of good luck to win this one. I can just see it now:

Lib Dem HQ: Elizabeth, we're sending reinforcements now and we're piping a schematic of the constituency to your clipboard.

E. Shelton PPC: I can see the Labour Candidate in there now. People are cheering - I can't wait, I'm going in.

Lib Dem HQ: Be careful!

E. Shelton PPC: My goodness, its not the Labour Candidate at all, they all Tories and I am surrounded.

Lib Dem HQ: Get out!

E. Shelton PPC: Too late, I am being pinned down by canvassers. Tell Nick Clegg I love him and I want to be number 31....
