Buzzwords and bingo - no. 4

Repurpose
As in "we will repurpose last week's pitch for tomorrow's meeting".
Why not be honest?  "We don't have time to do any new work so we're going to cut and paste stuff from the last report we did. We'll do a new introduction and maybe even add a couple more slides, assuming we can find someone here who knows how to do things in PowerPoint."

LOL - I've repurposed more Power Points than you've had hot dinners. Although I can't say I was being lazy doing it, the ones that have been handed to me to repurpose have needed nearly as much spell and grammar correcting as repurposing to make them usable again in any shape or form.

That's the joy of working in teaching though, colleagues generally think they are being helpful handing me their Power Points to use in my lessons. The ones from the English department are especially bad. Thanks for that post, it made me smile broadly! :)
