Young Scotton on right track

He showed improved form over this course and distance last month, recording a win and a second from two starts, and is readily forgiven a below-par effort at Southwell last time as he failed to handle that Fibresand surface.  Back at a track that suits him well, he rates cracking each-way value at a generous 8-1 with Ladbrokes and totesport.

On the betting exchanges, the best play of the day is to lay Wizard Of Us (2.00) for a place at around evens.  In his favour, he has an excellent record at this track, with three wins from four starts, but all have been gained over two miles and this former miler on the Flat is unlikely to cope with a step up in trip.  With conditions testing, he will surely not last home.
