Arabian Sun looks hot stuff

There are decent quality jumps cards at Newbury and Doncatser today, but they offer few decent betting opportunities and Arabian Sun (3.25 Wolverhampton) rates the pick of the morning prices.

My original selection, Salut Saint Cloud was declared a non-runner this morning and that may well leave the way clear for Arabian Sun, who has been running consistently well on the all-weather this winter.  Just 2lb higher in the weights than when beaten a neck by Estate over course and distance in October, he will be hard to keep out of the frame and rates good each-way material at the 9-1 offered by Coral and Ladbrokes.

On the betting exchanges, Categorical (2.30 Doncaster) looks over-priced at around 13.  He drops back in trip after an easy win in claiming company at Musselburgh last time, but the way that he travels through his races strongly suggests that he will be more effective back at two miles and he can spring a surprise.
