Hammers nailed on at 4-1
West Ham United look overpriced, at 4-1 with Paddy Power and Skybet, to beat Chelsea in their Premier League clash at Upton Park on Saturday.
The Hammers, who have already beaten Manchester United and Liverpool on home soil this season, have only lost twice in the league since mid-December and their defence has held solid all campaign - conceding just 23 goals in 26 league matches.
Alan Curbishley’s men have lacked a potent goalscorer but Dean Ashton, who has scored five goals from 11 starts, definitely has the potential to fill that void and was back in favour for last week’s 1-0 win away to Fulham.
Chelsea are generally quoted at 4-5 but Avram Grant’s men were lacklustre when losing to Tottenham Hotspur in the Carling Cup final last Sunday and have won only one of their past five fixtures - that success being gained at the expense of Huddersfield in the FA Cup.
Elsewhere, Arsenal are a best-priced 4-7 to make home advantage tell against Aston Villa, while United are no bigger than 4-11 to pick up three points away to Fulham.
Meanwhile, Ladbrokes make Steven Gerrard 6-4 to win the title during his playing career at Liverpool. He is 1-2 not to.
