Make most of Generous Thought

Generous Thought (2.10 Newbury), a progressive juvenile, rates decent value at 5-1 with Betfred to make a winning reappearance.

He went from strength to strength last season, winning his final two starts at Pontefract and Doncaster in the style of a rapidly improving performer.  The form of his Doncaster victory looks particularly solid and, still fairly weighted off an 8lb higher mark, can land this on the way to better things.

On the betting exchanges, Bouguereau (3.15 Newbury) looks too short a price.  He won in good style at Pontefract on his reappearance and the fact that he handles testing conditions is in his favour, but this is a much stronger contest and he will need to step up again on that bare form.  Both Mountain Pride and Patkai look likely to beat him and Bouguereau looks worth laying at around 1.6 for a place.
