United can stay on boil
Manchester United should not be extended to finish off Roma in their Champions League quarter-final second leg clash at Old Trafford on Wednesday night - a match being shown live on Sky Sports 2.
United already have one foot in the semi-finals after winning the first leg 2-0 and, with their Italian rivals having little option but to attack from the first whistle, look an appealing bet to be ahead at half-time and full time. VC Bet offer 8-5 against that double result.
Sir Alex Ferguson could, conceivably, be tempted rest a few of his leading players with a vital league clash against Arsenal looming this Sunday.
But that is not Ferguson’s style and he is more likely to aim for the jugular before, perhaps, making substitutions in the last third of the game.
That means such as the in-form trio of Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and Paul Scholes all being in the starting line-up. Ronaldo, who has scored 39 goals this season, is 13-10 with Paddy Power to increase that tally. He is 4-1 to score the first goal of the game, with Rooney 9-2.
Overall, United look fairly priced at 4-6 to win - the bookmakers clearly believing that they may take their foot off the accelerator. The draw is generally 5-2, with Roma 9-2.
