Plum draw points to Dalarossie

Dalarossie (5.10 Musselburgh) looks decent each-way value at 9-1 with William Hill to make the most of a plum draw.

He seems to have improved since last season having been gelded over the winter and shaped really well when third at Wolverhampton on his penultimate start.  He reared as the stalls opened when disappointing last time, although in any case the soft ground was against him, and back on a fast surface he is fancied to open his account.

At Leicester this evening, Ovthenight (8.50) looks fairly priced at 9-2 with Coral.  He improved for a step up in trip to make a winning reappearance on turf at Southwell, showing a good attitude to win by a head with the third 12 lengths away.  An 8lb rise in the weights for that is fair and, with this extra furlong in his favour, he can follow up.
