Feelin Foxy can brush off rivals

Redcar survived a planned inspection after a dry night and conditions should be ideal for Feelin Foxy (5.30) to stage a repeat of her recent course and distance success.  She rates a fair bet at the 7-2 offered by Betfred or at 100-30 with Ladbrokes.

Feeling Foxy, who has looked quirky in the past,  seems to have turned over a new leaf since joining James Given this term, winning in good style on her reappearance here before just finding a step up to six furlongs beyond her when third at Lingfield Park last time.  Back to the minimum trip, she should be able to see off some modest opposition.

Selling races are not usully the most reliable of betting mediums, but Rowan Lodge (4.00 Redcar) will be hard to beat.  The way that he travelled when winning over an extended mile at Beverley last time suggests that he will be at least as effective over this shorter trip and, with the soft ground much in his favour, he should be backed at 5-1 with Betfred and Stan James.
