Felinious looks a snip at 3-1

There is top-class Flat action at York today, but the pick of the morning prices comes over jumps at Fontwell, where Felinious (4.10) rates a good bet at the 3-1 offered by Betfred.

This progressive mare showed fair form in bumpers but has been much better since switched to hurdles, winning her first three starts.  She raced too keenly for her own good on her return from a six-month break when third at Ludlow 17 days ago, but that should have taken the fizz out of her and it will be disappointing if she cannot beat some more exposed rivals.

The best bet at York is Generous Thought (2.10), a 3-1 chance with Coral and William Hill.  Unlucky not to make a winning reappearance at N ewbury, where he was beaten a short head after badly missing the break, he is improving rapidly and should be able to fdefy a further 6lb rise in the weights at the main expense of Meydan Princess.
